Christ Lutheran, Carey

These were taken hastily, on our way out of town after a visit to Our Lady of Consolation. Lighting was bad. But I just had to see what was attached to that steeple that was towering over the town!

There was a street fair just a few doors down, and the church youth were swarming around. The church appears to have been built in the 60's, give or take a decade. I like the figure of Christ on the tower.
This needle-nosed steeple is visible all over the place! Note the chi-rho symbol at the base.
